[AUTOHOME Overseas Spy Shots] Recently, we obtained a set of spy shots of the all-new pure electric AMG GLA model from relevant channels. The new vehicle is currently undergoing road tests, with the coverage of body camouflage greatly reduced. It is expected to adopt the three-motor powertrain of the CLA 45, and its maximum power is expected to reach 500kW (680 horsepower).

In terms of appearance, most of the camouflage on the body has disappeared, with only camouflage stickers remaining in partial areas. The front part of the vehicle will be equipped with a more aggressive lower surround, as well as a brand-new exclusive AMG-designed grille, so as to distinguish it from the regular version of Mercedes-Benz GLA with optional AMG Line sports package. The rear of the vehicle is equipped with the family's new star emblem taillights and a roof spoiler, and it will most likely be fitted with a set of diffusers similar to that of the all-new AMG CLA 45. In addition, the overall body still retains the recognizability of the GLA.

The official has not yet announced the power parameters of this new vehicle, but the just-released electric AMG CLA 45 provides us with a reference. This vehicle is equipped with three axial flux motors, with a maximum power of 500kW (680 horsepower), a comprehensive peak torque of 1759N·m, and a 94kWh battery. The entire series comes standard with an 800V high-voltage platform. Under WLTP operating conditions, the four-door coupe version has a comprehensive range of 670km, and the shooting brake version has a range of 640km. The AMG GLA 45 will most likely also follow this set of battery specifications. It is expected that the GLA 45 will also be equipped with the AMGForce S+ mode of the CLA 45. This system can simulate engine sound and shifting actions, and is also equipped with a seat vibration mechanism to enhance the sense of reality. (Text/AUTOHOME Yao Yu)
