[AUTOHOME News] Recently, we have learned that the Fangchengbao Titanium 9, which made its debut at this year's Chengdu Motor Show, will be officially launched in the fourth quarter of this year. As the flagship model of Fangchengbao's Titanium series, the new vehicle follows the family square-box body design of the Titanium series, is positioned as a large plug-in hybrid SUV with a 6-seat layout, and is equipped with the sixth-generation DM-i hybrid technology for its powertrain, with a pure electric range of 310km under WLTC conditions.



In terms of appearance, the Fangchengbao Titanium 9 adopts a square-box shape design. The front face is equipped with a brand-new through-type circular light strip that surrounds the brand LOGO. The lower part of the front end is fitted with a silver guard plate and an active intake grille, and the roof is equipped with LiDAR.



The side of the body adopts a family-style design with a floating roof. The body lines are consistent with those of the Titanium 7, with a three-dimensional waistline matched with flared wheel arches, and adopts a body structure with short front overhang and long rear overhang. As for the body size of the new vehicle, its length, width and height are 5270/1999/1850mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 3130mm, an approach angle of 19° and a departure angle of 22°. It provides a variety of wheel style options in two specifications of 21 inches and 22 inches.

The rear of the vehicle adopts a split tailgate opening structure, and is equipped with exclusive-style taillights, a roof spoiler integrated with a high-mounted brake light, and a hidden rear wiper. The new vehicle provides three seat layouts of 5-seat, 6-seat and 7-seat, and the third-row seats of the entire series support fully folding flat.

In terms of chassis, the new vehicle adopts a load-bearing body structure, is equipped with DiSus-P Ultra intelligent hydraulic suspension, and is standardly equipped with a rear-wheel steering system for the entire series, which is suitable for urban road driving and light off-road scenarios.

In terms of power, the new vehicle is equipped with a 1.5T engine + front and rear dual-motor plug-in hybrid four-wheel drive system, matched with the sixth-generation DM-i hybrid technology. The maximum power of the 1.5T engine is 115kW, the total power of the front and rear motors is 400kW, the vehicle is equipped with a 66.48kWh battery pack, the pure electric range under WLTC conditions is 310km, and the comprehensive range with full fuel and full battery exceeds 1600 kilometers.
