[Autohome New Car Debut] At the 2026 Chengdu Motor Show, the Beijing Off-Road BJ40 Range-Extended Black Samurai officially makes its debut. The overall design of the new vehicle has little change, but it adopts matte black paint to further enhance the Black Samurai design attribute.

In terms of appearance, the new vehicle still adopts the classic design of a three-hole grille integrated with the headlight clusters on both sides, and the front bumper adopts a relatively rugged design to further highlight its off-road attribute. In addition, the new vehicle uses matte black paint, and the wheels adopt a six-spoke black design, which further deepens the Black Samurai attribute.

In addition to the relatively obvious paint and wheels, the new vehicle also has a full blackening treatment for exterior details, including grilles, bumpers, window frames, roof racks, brand logos and so on. In terms of body size, the new vehicle remains consistent with the current model, with length, width and height of 4720/1940/1964mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 2760mm.

In terms of interior, the new vehicle is still equipped with an embedded full LCD instrument cluster, paired with a four-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, and a dual 15.6-inch connected screen design for the central control and co-pilot is installed in the middle of the center console, which enhances the technological attribute.

In terms of power, the new vehicle is still equipped with a 1.5T range-extended system, with a comprehensive power of 391 kW, a comprehensive torque of 655 N·m, CLTC pure electric ranges of 201km and 252km respectively, and CLTC comprehensive ranges of 1249km and 1300km respectively.
