[AUTOHOME Official New Car Images] On August 20, we obtained official interior images of the all-new generation Tang (officially named the third-generation Tang), a mid-size SUV under BYD, from BYD's official source. Meanwhile, the model will make its debut at the 2026 Chengdu Motor Show that kicks off on August 21. According to previous information, the new car will form a dual-vehicle product matrix with the Da Tang, adopt a brand-new naming system later, and is scheduled to be officially launched in the second half of 2026.

Judging from the interior detail images released by the official this time, the model adopts a brand-new design style, is fitted with an integrated connected screen design, and a long and narrow full LCD screen is added above the central control screen, which displays information including multimedia, weather, level gauge and gear mode. For other configurations, the model will also be equipped with wireless mobile phone charging, physical control buttons and so on.

In terms of appearance, the overall design of the new car draws on the design style of the Da Tang. The closed front grille, matched with the upward-swept headlight clusters on both sides and the through-type chrome trim strip in the center, gives the front face a grand and fashionable visual effect. In terms of dimensions, its length, width and height are 5045/1980/1760mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2950mm, and both front and rear track widths are 1700mm. It can be seen that the length, wheelbase and height of the all-new Tang are basically the same as those of the Tang L, while its body width and track width are slightly smaller.

At the rear, it adopts a through-type taillight cluster, with the BYD brand LOGO set in the center, matched with a fairly large spoiler above to enrich the visual layering. In terms of driving assistance, the model will come with God's Eye B as standard.

In terms of power, only one single-motor version of the model has been declared for now. It is equipped with a drive motor of model TZ205QYD, with a maximum power of 300kW and a calibrated top speed of 250km/h. Meanwhile, according to the Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models Eligible for Vehicle Purchase Tax Reduction and Exemption (the 33rd Batch), it will be offered with 88.682kWh and 105.792kWh battery packs, with CLTC pure electric ranges of 730km, 830km and 850km. In addition, it may be equipped with the DiSus-A intelligent air body control system, which features dual-chamber air suspension and intelligent road preview function, and can respond quickly to changes in road conditions. We will continue to pay attention to more information about this model. (Text / Zhou Yi, AUTOHOME )
