[AUTOHOME News] Recently, Geely Auto announced on its official social media platforms that the Geely Boyue L i-HEV hybrid model will make its public debut at the Chengdu Motor Show. The new vehicle will be equipped with i-HEV Smart Engine hybrid technology and a 1.5TD dedicated hybrid engine. In addition, the vehicle is fitted with a LiDAR on the roof, and will carry the Qianli Haohan H5 advanced driving assistance solution, supporting functions including urban navigation assistance and highway navigation assistance.
New Vehicle Introduction:
In terms of appearance, the Geely Boyue L adopts the design concept of "Charm of Mountains and Rivers" as a whole. Its large-size straight waterfall grille is eye-catching, with a star-ring through-type light strip at the upper part connected to the left and right headlights, and dynamic diversion grooves on both sides of the front bumper.
In terms of body dimensions, the length, width and height of the new vehicle are 4730/1910/1710mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2785mm. The new model adopts traditional physical door handles, features a very dynamic waistline, and is equipped with multi-spoke rims.
At the rear of the vehicle, there is a highly recognizable boomerang-style + through-type taillight design, with 190 LED beads arranged in a matrix. The 2.9-meter ultra-long light strip presents a three-dimensional light effect the moment it lights up.
For the interior, the new vehicle adopts a minimalist cockpit design, with a 15.4-inch 2.5K central control screen in the center, matched with a LCD instrument panel and a 25.6-inch AR-HUD head-up display. The infotainment system is equipped with the Flyme Auto smart cockpit system, and carries the automotive-grade 7nm Longying No.1 chip, which has a super large storage space of 16G+128G and twice the AI computing power of the 8155 chip.
In terms of seats, the front seats are equipped with lumbar support, leg rest, heating, ventilation, massage and headrest audio, etc. The seats adopt a ten-layer high-resilience structure and 15mm thick sponge to improve riding comfort, and the front row is also equipped with a queen co-pilot. It is worth mentioning that the vehicle is also equipped with the Flyme Sound 16-speaker audio system, including headrest speakers, to create 7.1.2 panoramic surround sound.
In terms of power, the official has not yet released the detailed power parameters of the Geely Boyue L i-HEV. For reference, the fuel version models offer 1.5T and 2.0T engines as options, with maximum power of 181 hp (133 kW) and 218 hp (160 kW) respectively, and peak torque of 290 N·m and 325 N·m respectively. In terms of transmission system, it is matched with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox.
