[Autohome New Car Launch] On August 18, the Fangchengbao Tai 7 long-range version was officially launched. A total of 2 variants are available, priced from RMB 195,800 to RMB 225,800. The new model is upgraded with a 50kWh large battery pack, compared with the 35.6kWh battery pack of the current model. The pure electric range of the long-range version will be significantly increased, with CLTC pure electric ranges reaching 315km and 300km, while the current model has CLTC pure electric ranges of 135km, 200km and 190km. The new model is positioned as a medium-to-large SUV, offering plug-in hybrid and pure electric variants, and the models launched this time are plug-in hybrid versions.

In terms of appearance, the front face of the Fangchengbao Tai 7 adopts a combined design of a closed grille, dual-layer headlights and an illuminated LOGO. The lower bumper of the vehicle is equipped with an H-shaped silver guard plate, and is fitted with a 201L front trunk.

The side of the body adopts a boxy shape with a floating roof design. The new vehicle has a length, width and height of 4999/1995/1865mm respectively, a wheelbase of 2920mm, an approach angle of 24 degrees and a departure angle of 25 degrees. The rear of the vehicle is equipped with dual L-shaped taillights, an external spare tire cover and a side-opening tailgate.


In terms of interior, the new vehicle continues the Star Ark design, and the whole vehicle supports 7-screen linkage. The hardware includes a 15.6-inch central control screen, a 10.25-inch instrument panel, a 26-inch W-HUD, an air conditioning knob screen, and a rear air conditioning control screen. Two 13-inch BYD Pads are optional for the rear row.



The new vehicle is equipped with Soufflé four-layer structured seats and cloud-sense headrests. The front seats are equipped with heating and ventilation as standard, with massage function available as an option, and the steering wheel is equipped with heating function; the rear seats are equipped with electric adjustment, heating and ventilation as standard. The whole vehicle is equipped with dual 50W wireless fast chargers for the front row, a 4.5L cooling and heating refrigerator, a 20-speaker Devialet audio system, and an active fragrance system. The new vehicle is also equipped with the Eye of God B laser version assisted driving system, which supports urban navigation assisted driving.
In terms of power, the Tai 7 long-range version continues to be equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system, upgraded with a 50kWh large battery pack, compared with the 35.6kWh battery pack of the current model. The CLTC pure electric ranges reach 315km and 300km, while the current model has CLTC pure electric ranges of 135km, 200km and 190km. The 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 115kW, the single-motor version has a maximum power of 200kW, and the dual-motor version has a maximum power of 360kW. It takes 13.9 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, and the fastest 0-100km/h acceleration time is 4.5 seconds.
The chassis adopts front double wishbone and rear five-link suspension, is equipped with DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system as standard, and is fitted with DiSus preview system and high-speed tire blowout auxiliary stability control system. (Text/Qin Chao, Autohome)
