[Info from AUTOHOME ] Recently, we learned from official sources that the DENZA Z hardtop version will make its domestic debut at the Chengdu Motor Show, while the new color scheme of the DENZA Z convertible version will also be unveiled simultaneously. Previously, DENZA Z has kicked off pre-sales in China, launching three models including the Coupe hardtop version, Spider convertible version and Racing track version, with a pre-sale price ranging from RMB 680,000 to RMB 1,180,000.
In terms of appearance, the DENZA Z adopts the "Pure Emotion" design system. The front of the car is equipped with a large number of aerodynamic kits, and the overall body structure is a low-slung wide-body sports car. It has a closed front fascia, fitted with blade LED water drop headlights, and three-dimensional air ducts are built into the hood to optimize heat dissipation and wind resistance coefficient. Two lidars are also equipped on both sides of the front bumper.
The side of the body is set with side skirt wind blades and diversion grooves to sort out driving airflow. In terms of model size, the length, width and height of the convertible version are 4780/1990/1350mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2780mm; the length, width and height of the hardtop version/track version are 4870/1990/1350mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2780mm. The rear style varies with different versions: the hardtop version is equipped with a carbon fiber roof and an electrically adjustable rear spoiler, which can automatically adjust the angle with the vehicle speed; the convertible version is fitted with a fully automatic folding soft top mechanism, whose storage structure is designed integrated with the rear of the car; the track version is equipped with a fixed large-size rear spoiler.
The interior trim parts of the vehicle include carbon fiber trim panels, metal pedals, suede headliner, etc. The whole vehicle is equipped with double-layer sound insulation glass to reduce driving wind noise and tire noise. The new car is equipped with a sports-style steering wheel containing multiple one-touch mode buttons. The car is fitted with a track-themed full LCD instrument cluster and a large floating central control screen, the system has two built-in interactive interfaces for comfort and track modes; the track interface can display vehicle operating data such as motor power, battery temperature, lateral G value, output torque and so on in real time.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with BYD's e³ (e-cube) intelligent vehicle control platform, adopting a three-motor independent four-wheel drive layout of front single motor and rear dual motors. The comprehensive peak power of the system is 1180 kW (1605 hp), with a peak torque of 1240 N·m; the 0-100km/h acceleration time of the hardtop version/convertible version/track version is 2.25 seconds, 2.3 seconds and 1.96 seconds respectively, and the top speed is 300km/h, 300km/h and 350km/h respectively.
