Positioned as a mid-size car, BYD Qin MAX is available in pure electric and plug-in hybrid versions, with a body length of 4866mm and a wheelbase of 2820mm. It is also equipped with the second-generation Blade Battery, flash charging technology, Tianshen Zhiyan B Laser Version Assisted Driving System, Yunnian-C Intelligent Damping Body Control System, etc.
Looking back at the new car, both the plug-in hybrid version and the pure electric version retain a unified design style in appearance, except that the pure electric version is equipped with a 115L frunk that supports double-click opening. The front of the Qin MAX still retains the family-style Dragon Face aesthetic design, with a central through trim strip connecting the narrow light groups on both sides. The interior of the light chamber adopts rectangular headlights, which are very sharp. The lower bumper adopts a three-segment vent design, and creates an "X" shape through body-colored decorations and the through trim strip to gather the visual focus.

Coming to the side of the car, it still adopts a fastback shape, and is equipped with a semi-hidden door handle design. In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the new car are 4866/1880/1495mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2820mm, and 18-inch rims are available. The rear of the vehicle creates a sense of muscle through the wide rear shoulder design, and the taillights are still the familiar through-type shape, which presents a woven and staggered style when lit on both sides, with high recognition. In addition, it is also equipped with an electric tailgate, and the trunk volume is 523L. In terms of body colors, the new car will provide 6 options: Soft Snow White, Star Moon Purple, Cloud Dawn Pink, Forest Wild Green, Light Chasing Silver and Danxia Orange. Meanwhile, Star Moon Purple, Cloud Dawn Pink and Forest Wild Green are also available in two-tone body.
Entering the car, the interior of the new car is available in two color schemes: Light Sand Gray and Dawn Purple. The front row is equipped with a double-spoke multifunction steering wheel, LCD instrument panel, 10.8-inch HUD head-up display and floating central control screen, with a built-in DiLink 150 smart cockpit, supporting AI full-scene intelligent voice, mic-free K song, free dual desktops and so on. In terms of driving assistance, the new car can be optionally upgraded to the Tianshen Zhiyan B Laser Version Assisted Driving System.
The front seats are equipped with electric adjustment, heating, ventilation and massage functions. Other configurations also include a 50W wireless fast charging panel for the front row, on-board refrigerator, multifunctional expansion interface, panoramic sunroof with sunshade, steering wheel heating and so on.
In terms of power, the new car will be available in plug-in hybrid and pure electric versions. The plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a combination of a 1.5L engine and an electric motor, with the maximum power of the engine being 74kW and the maximum power of the electric motor being 175kW; it is matched with 25.287kWh or 34.275kWh batteries, and the pure electric cruising range under CLTC conditions is 230km and 320km respectively.
The pure electric version provides two rear-mounted single motors of 120kW and 240kW, matched with the second-generation Blade Battery and supports flash charging technology, with battery capacities of 52.868kWh and 64.315kWh respectively, corresponding to CLTC cruising ranges of 530km and 630km respectively. The chassis of the new car adopts front MacPherson and rear five-link independent suspension, and the Yunnian-C intelligent body control system is optional.
Competitors:
The goal of BYD Qin MAX is actually only one, that is, to become a benchmark product in the mid-size car market, and a trump product that can occupy the top sales position in the market for a long time. Therefore, all mid-size cars in the current market with a price range of RMB 100,000 to 150,000 will become competitors of the Qin MAX.

In the first half of this year, Camry, Magotan and Passat have maintained strong momentum. Although their official guide prices are all above RMB 150,000, dealers basically offer a discount of about 20% to 30%, so their actual selling prices also overlap greatly with that of the Qin MAX, becoming its direct competitors. Although the Qin MAX does not have an advantage in size, its intelligent and comfort configurations are obviously more than one level higher, and the flash charging technology also makes up for the energy replenishment time disadvantage of pure electric models. Considering that the market performance of Seal 06 and Qin L is also good, it is expected that we will not wait too long for the Qin MAX to reach the top.
Among domestic new energy models, Geely Galaxy A7, Xingyao 7, Deepal L06 and Arcfox Alpha S5 are relatively direct competitors of the Qin MAX. Their market performance can basically maintain more than 5,000 units per month, and they also have strong competitiveness. In addition, in the mid-to-large car market, there are also highly cost-effective models such as Changan Qiyuan A06 and Chery Fengyun A9 that can carry out staggered competition with the Qin MAX.
