[AUTOHOME Overseas Spy Shots] Recently, we obtained a set of undisguised spy shots of the Genesis GV80 hybrid version from relevant channels. The new vehicle will be equipped with Genesis' latest 2.5T hybrid system, and is expected to make its debut in September.

In terms of appearance, the new model will continue the design of the current fuel-powered version. The front face adopts a classic shield-shaped grille with a double-layer stacked structure, and the large air intake design of the front bumper inherently has sporty attributes. Meanwhile, the vehicle will also provide brand-new wheel rim styles for selection. The rear of the vehicle still uses split taillights, matched with a roof spoiler and metal chrome details, which is full of sporty and luxurious sense.

In terms of power, Genesis GV80 and GV80 Coupe will become the first models in the brand's product line equipped with the new hybrid system. The new vehicle will be equipped with a hybrid system composed of a 2.5T turbocharged engine and P1/P2 electric motors, with a comprehensive maximum system power of about 357 horsepower, a peak torque of 529 N·m, and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of approximately 7.1 seconds. In addition, to further improve the cockpit quietness, Genesis has optimized this powertrain to enable pure electric mode in as many scenarios as possible. (Text / Yao Yu, AUTOHOME )
