[AUTOHOME News] Recently, we spotted the Jetta M6 model in the Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models Eligible for Vehicle Purchase Tax Reduction and Exemption (33rd Batch). Positioned as a pure electric mid-size car, the new model is developed based on the self-developed Jisi Architecture and pure electric platform, and is the first pure electric model of the brand. It is scheduled to be officially launched and start deliveries in the second half of the year. According to the information from the purchase tax reduction and exemption catalogue, the Jetta M6 will offer two CLTC pure electric range versions, which are 465km and 555km respectively.

In terms of appearance, the Jetta M6 adopts a brand-new design language. The L-shaped daytime running lights have "teardrop-like" decorative details when lit, bringing a decent sense of fashion overall. The length, width and height of the Jetta M6 are 4806/1895 (1868)/1500mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2820mm. It provides two optional rim sizes of 17 inches and 18 inches, and the charging port is arranged on the fender at the passenger side. In addition, the vehicle will be equipped with a new new energy badge, the rear is fitted with a through-type taillight, and the English logo "JETTA" is embedded in the center.

In terms of interior, the new car adopts a two-tone color matching inside. The center console is equipped with a full LCD instrument panel and a large floating central control screen, which, together with the hidden ambient light, creates a nice sense of warmth and design layering. The new car uses a double-spoke multifunctional steering wheel and column-mounted gear shift design. In addition, we can also see that a wireless mobile phone charging panel is configured at the bottom of the center console, which is convenient for front passengers to charge their devices. The backrests of the front seats support large-angle adjustment, and can be laid flat to connect with the rear seats. A panoramic glass roof is also available on the new car.

In terms of power, the new car adopts a front-mounted single motor layout, and will provide two motors with maximum power of 113kW and 145kW respectively, and is equipped with CALB batteries. We will continue to follow up and report more information about the new car. (Text / Chang Qinglin, AUTOHOME )
