[AUTOHOME News] A few days ago, we saw the application images of the Yuzhong 06 LiDAR version on the official platform of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The advanced driver-assistance system of the new vehicle is different from that of the currently sold models, and it is expected to support high-level ADAS functions such as high-speed navigation assistance and urban navigation assistance. In addition, compared with the currently sold rear-wheel drive version, the Yuzhong 06 LiDAR version will adopt a dual-motor four-wheel drive powertrain, with the front motor having a peak power of 80 kW and the rear motor having a peak power of 170 kW.
The Yuzhong 06 LiDAR version adopts the body structure of a fastback coupe SUV, and is equipped with rear disc brakes as standard. It is fitted with 21-inch rims, matched with two specifications of tires: 235/45R21 or 255/40R21. In terms of body size, the new vehicle has a length, width and height of 4663mm/1860mm/1617mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2766mm, and is positioned as a pure electric compact SUV.
For the interior, the new vehicle is equipped with a 10.25-inch high-definition instrument screen + 27-inch AR HUD (Augmented Reality Head-Up Display), paired with a two-spoke dual-color multifunction steering wheel. A 15-inch floating central control screen is installed in the middle of the center console, together with a 10-inch passenger entertainment screen (with anti-peep function). In addition, the new vehicle is also equipped with a MediaTek 8676 chip.
In terms of power, the front motor of the Yuzhong 06 LiDAR version has a peak power of 80 kW and a rated power of 20 kW; the rear motor has a peak power of 170 kW and a rated power of 72 kW. The front motor is supplied by Magna Powertrain (Jiangxi) Co., Ltd., and the rear motor is supplied by Hefei Jiyi Power System Co., Ltd. The official has not yet announced the CLTC pure electric cruising range information of this new vehicle. For reference, the CLTC range of the currently sold rear-wheel drive Yuzhong 06 is 528km.
