The three special edition models are DB12 S special editions meticulously crafted by Q by Aston Martin, the brand's customization division, each being a one-of-a-kind bespoke ride. In addition, the Aston Martin Vanquish 25th Anniversary Limited Edition will also be on display at the event.
As an important part of the 75th anniversary celebration of this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, Q by Aston Martin specially presents three "Q" custom masterpieces, taking the Aston Martin factory racing cars that competed in 1951 as design inspiration. In 1951, Aston Martin Racing had three DB2 race cars with British license plates marked "VMF", each equipped with a unique exclusive colored intake grille. Produced in 1950, these three race cars were specially built for the 24 Hours of Le Mans that year, and remained active in various competitions with Aston Martin factory teams and customer teams throughout the early 1950s.
Taking these three distinctive DB2 "VMF" race cars as inspiration, Aston Martin presents a brand-new series of DB12 S coupe sports cars, paying tribute to the 75th Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance with bespoke custom masterpieces. VMF 63 adopts Rosso Red as accent color, VMF 64 is decorated with Speed Yellow details, and VMF 65 uses Elwood Blue for highlight outlines. All three DB12 S models are integrated with carefully considered detailed designs and exclusive configurations from Q by Aston Martin.
In terms of exterior, the DB12 S "VMF" series models are painted in highly recognizable Carbon Black, complemented by painted grille blades in different colors, circular "75" anniversary badges on the fenders, and painted carbon fiber side skirt trims. The rear is equipped with a painted carbon fiber Aeroblade lifting spoiler and DB2 body line foil cladding, completing the final finishing of the brand-new exterior.
In terms of interior, the front seat back of each car is fitted with exquisite embroidery, an Aston Martin wing badge with contrasting stitching that echoes the body's accent color, and delicate DB2 body line patterns, while the rear seat back is decorated with the circular "75" anniversary badge. The start/stop knob and the ends of the shift paddles are also painted in the same color. Meanwhile, the vehicle will also be equipped with exclusive custom "75" anniversary welcome pedal trims that pay tribute to the design inspiration of the DB2.
In addition, the brand's exclusive exhibition hall "The House of Aston Martin" will also display another heavyweight new work - the Vanquish 25th Anniversary Limited Edition, built by Q by Aston Martin. The production of this model is strictly limited, and it is created to pay tribute to the 25th anniversary of the launch of the first-generation V12 Vanquish. The new car draws inspiration from the detailed design and launch specifications of the first-generation Vanquish, and integrates brand-new handcrafts and processing techniques.
