[AUTOHOME Official New Car Images] Recently, we found the filing images of the range-extended version of Mengshi X700 from the latest catalog of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). Jointly designed by Mengshi Automobile and Huawei Qiankun, the vehicle adopts a boxy SUV shape and is positioned for light outdoor and general off-road scenarios. It features a unibody structure and a range-extended plug-in hybrid system, and will be equipped with Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving, Hongmeng Cockpit and other configurations.

In terms of appearance, the front of the Mengshi X700 adopts a full-width daytime running light design, and is equipped with an illuminable Mengshi logo. Both the central grille and the lower bumper are equipped with air vents, and the entire front fascia has a tough and futuristic design. In addition, the new car will also be equipped with sensing hardware such as LiDAR, and will continue to adopt the Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving system.
The side profile of the vehicle adopts the boxy SUV shape, and is equipped with semi-hidden door handles. In terms of body dimensions, its length, width and height are 5035/1999/1890mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2920mm; it has an approach angle of 30 degrees and a departure angle of 31 degrees. The rear of the vehicle is equipped with vertically designed taillights, which have a large visible area and high recognition at night. A storage box can be optionally installed at the position of the rear-mounted spare tire to enhance the stylish atmosphere. The new car will adopt black-painted rims, with 18-inch and 20-inch sizes available, matched with tires of 265/65R18 or 255/60R20 specifications.
In terms of powertrain, the new car will be equipped with a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 95kW, and the power battery pack has a capacity of 51.46kWh.
