[AUTOHOME Domestic Spy Shots] We have spotted the filing images of WEY V9X EV in the latest catalogue released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). As the pure electric variant, the overall exterior design of the new model is consistent with the previously launched plug-in hybrid version, with only adjustments made to details. Meanwhile, the maximum output of the motors has been increased to 220kW for the front motor and 320kW for the rear motor respectively.

In terms of exterior design, the new model is identical to the previously launched plug-in hybrid version. Its body dimensions remain 5299mm in length, 2025mm in width and 1825mm in height, and the wheelbase also stays unchanged at 3150mm, with a 6-seat layout adopted in the cabin. As can be seen from the optional equipment list, the new model is still equipped with 21-inch rims as standard across all trim levels, but disc-shaped rims will be added as an option. In addition, two-tone body paint is still available for selection.

The new model will be powered by a 220kW front motor and a 320kW rear motor, with a ternary lithium battery serving as the energy storage device. Its curb weight is 2805kg and 2840kg for different variants. Besides, a trailer hitch is optional, with a maximum gross mass of the towed trailer reaching 2000kg. We will continue to follow up and report more information about the new model. (Text / Guo Chen, AUTOHOME )
