[AUTOHOME New Car Debut] Recently, the Dongfeng Fengshen L8Y has made its real-vehicle debut. Positioned as a compact pure electric SUV with a 5-seat layout, it targets young family users. Meanwhile, the CLTC pure electric range of the flagship model can reach 535km. It is reported that the Dongfeng Fengshen L8Y will be officially launched within August.




In terms of exterior, the overall styling of the vehicle is dynamic and neat. The glowing double-swallow logo on the front fascia is tech-savvy and exquisite, and the exclusive "Glazed Purple" body color is inspired by the sky cyan-purple hue of evening clouds surrounding western Sichuan. The side of the body adopts a sharp waistline running through the front and rear, and is equipped with traditional door handles. The front and rear fenders create a wide-body visual effect.


The rear of the vehicle adopts a two-section roof spoiler, with dual high-mounted brake light sets built in the middle. The taillight set adopts a through-type design, and the main light sources on both sides adopt a three-group array shape, which has certain recognizability after being lit. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the vehicle are 4688/1900/1617mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2775mm.






In terms of interior, the vehicle is equipped with a 15.6-inch central control screen, a 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster and AR-HUD, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 in-vehicle chip, supporting HUAWEI HiCar, Carlink and CarPlay functions. The front row of the vehicle is equipped with cloud-soft large sofas as standard. Both the driver and front passenger seats support functions such as seat massage, ventilation, heating and memory welcome, and are fitted with three-airbag four-way lumbar supports to effectively relieve waist fatigue.

In terms of power, the flagship model is equipped with a single-motor pure electric powertrain, with a maximum power of 135kW and a maximum torque of 260N·m, paired with a 61.83kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, with a CLTC pure electric range of 535km.
