The new model is positioned as a compact SUV and is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system. Officials stated that the vehicle will focus on high-level intelligent driving and further enhance its assisted driving hardware.
In terms of appearance, the new vehicle basically retains the styling design of the current Fengshen L8 on the whole, and offers Star Rose Pink paint color. The front face of the vehicle is equipped with a through-type light cluster, with an illuminable brand logo below. The headlight clusters on both sides form a "large mouth" shape together with the air intake grille. In addition, the vehicle will also be equipped with LiDAR. Perception cameras are installed at the fenders on the side of the vehicle, and it adopts a traditional mechanical door handle design. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the Fengshen L8+ are 4762/1910/1686mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2825mm.
In terms of interior, the Fengshen L8+ adopts a two-tone soft package matched with ambient lighting, delivering a full sense of relaxation. The vehicle is equipped with a floating central control screen, a three-spoke steering wheel and a wireless mobile phone charging panel. At the same time, the new vehicle is also equipped with a panoramic sunroof and a sunshade. The rear row adopts a three-seat layout and is provided with a central armrest. In addition, the vehicle is also equipped with a 19-speaker WANOS panoramic sound system and aviation-style small table boards. In terms of assisted driving, the Fengshen L8+ is the first model equipped with Dongfeng Group's latest intelligent driving solution -- Tianyuan Intelligent Driving T800, which integrates the Momenta R7 world model, paired with a 4nm Thor U 700TOPS ultra-high computing power assisted driving computing chip.
