[AUTOHOME News] Recently, Dongfeng Nissan has released teaser images of its all-new model NX7. Judging from the product sequence, the NX series was previously for SUV models, and since its serial number is smaller than that of the earlier NX8, it is expected to be an SUV with a smaller size than the NX8. For reference, the NX8 is a mid-to-large SUV with a starting price of 159,900 yuan, so the NX7 may be a mid-size SUV with a lower starting price.

The NX7 also adopts a new design language. Although it still uses the split headlight design, the daytime running lights do not adopt the through-type light style this time. The lower split light cluster also introduces a new style, with a diamond-shaped lamp body and an L-shaped internal lamp cavity. Meanwhile, the front LOGO still supports self-luminescence. The hood has obvious rib lines, which makes it more three-dimensional and dynamic. The roof is equipped with a luggage rack, and the front of the car is also fitted with a LiDAR.

After image processing, the outline of the front face can be clearly seen.
Referring to the NX8, it is expected that the NX7 will continue to provide 1.5T range-extended and pure electric power options. At present, the NX8 is the best-selling new energy vehicle of Dongfeng Nissan, with 5,398 units sold in June, among which the sales of pure electric models are 2,939 units, and the sales of range-extended models are 2,459 units. Both power versions are welcomed by consumers. (Text / AUTOHOME , Qin Chao)
