[Autohome Official New Car Images] Recently, the new Sienta, a compact MPV under Toyota, has officially released its official images and launched simultaneously in overseas markets. As a facelift model, it is still positioned as an urban family mobility vehicle for families with multiple children. It features a compact body size, dual electric sliding doors, and flexible 5-seater/7-seater seating layouts. Meanwhile, optimizations have been made to its practicality, safety configurations and vehicle usage convenience. The entire lineup offers two powertrain options of fuel and hybrid, with two-wheel drive and E-Four electronic four-wheel drive available. The trim levels are still divided into three conventional configuration grades: X, G and Z. The hybrid Z grade also derives an exclusive fully customized version JUNO, which is built based on the 5-seater hybrid Z and comes with exclusive interior and exterior decoration kits.

Minor adjustments have been made to exterior details: the color of the trim strips inside the front grille has been slightly revised, the black smoked decorative parts inside the taillights have been optimized, high-trim models have added black decoration kits on the lower edge of the doors and rearview mirror housings, and multiple new two-tone body color combinations have been added. Blackened optional kits for wheel nuts and window trim strips are also available at the same time, with a style close to the design language of the concurrent Night Shade dark special edition.

In terms of the emergency power supply system, the new Sienta takes the original 100V/1500W external power socket as standard for the entire lineup, which is arranged on the right side of the trunk, matched with an emergency power supply system and external power transfer accessories. It can directly supply power for small household appliances and in-vehicle devices during outdoor camping and power outage emergencies, greatly improving its home use expansion attribute.

Interior and safety details are optimized: the original 5-seater and 7-seater cockpit layouts remain unchanged, and the anti-slip lining of the storage compartments in the car has been optimized. The functional logic of the Toyota Safety Sense intelligent safety system has been slightly adjusted, and the sensitivity of low-speed collision prevention and night pedestrian recognition has been improved. The display quality of the panoramic image of medium and high-trim models has been upgraded, and the configuration threshold of the blind spot monitoring and reverse side warning optional package has been lowered.

Exclusive cold weather configurations for four-wheel drive models are standardized. For G and Z trim versions equipped with E-Four electronic four-wheel drive, the exclusive kit for cold regions has been upgraded to standard configuration, and hardware related to low-temperature startup, window defogging and in-car heating has been optimized to meet the travel needs of users in snowy areas in northern Japan, which is also the core reason why the price increase of the four-wheel drive version of this facelift is slightly higher than that of the two-wheel drive version.

The powertrain has not undergone hardware iteration, and continues to use the existing two power combinations. The 1.5L three-cylinder naturally aspirated fuel version, matched with a CVT gearbox, only provides front two-wheel drive, with a WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of about 18.3km/L. It has a lower entry purchase cost and is suitable for daily short-distance travel. The 1.5L HYBRID version is the main selling model, available in two-wheel drive and E-Four electronic four-wheel drive, with an optimal WLTC fuel consumption of up to 27.9km/L. The four-wheel drive version is equipped with an independent motor on the rear axle, which improves starting stability on wet, slippery and snowy roads, and is suitable for families in rainy and snowy areas.
