[AUTOHOME Overseas Spy Shots] Recently, we obtained a set of spy shots of the Ferrari F80 Aperta (convertible version) from relevant channels. Ferrari officially released the F80 model in October 2024, and now the brand is expanding the lineup of this model series. Spy photographers have captured the all-new prototype undergoing road tests in Maranello. It is widely believed that this car is the F80 Aperta, and Ferrari registered the trademark for this model name as early as 2023. It is reported that the Ferrari F80 Aperta will be limited to 399 units, which is rarer than the hardtop version limited to 799 units. It is expected to make its debut next year to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the brand.

As a convertible derivative version, it is not surprising that its exterior design basically continues the style of the hardtop model, but the test car as a whole is covered with heavy camouflage. It is expected that the roof structure design of the new car will most likely draw on the scheme of LaFerrari Aperta, equipped with removable carbon fiber hardtop panels, and also comes with a storable and foldable soft top. That model was launched that year to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the brand. Consistent with the idea of the LaFerrari convertible version, the F80 Aperta is expected to adopt a reinforced body structure and carry out special optimization for aerodynamics. This set of modifications can not only ensure that the body rigidity is on par with the hardtop version, but also keep the cabin environment in good comfort when the vehicle is driving with the top down.

The powertrain is expected to directly follow the configuration of the hardtop version, equipped with a 3.0T V6 engine with two electric turbochargers, and the output power of the engine can reach 900 horsepower. In addition, the F80 is also equipped with dual front axle motors and a single rear motor, forming a four-wheel drive system, and the comprehensive power of the electric system unit reaches 300 horsepower. After the combination of the above power units, the comprehensive maximum power of the Ferrari F80 reaches 1200 horsepower. With an 8-speed F1 dual-clutch gearbox, the 0-100km/h acceleration time is 2.15 seconds, the 0-200km/h acceleration time is 5.75 seconds, and the top speed is 350km/h. (Text / Yao Yu, AUTOHOME )
