[AUTOHOME New Car Premiere] Recently, the actual 2027 BYD Seal 06 has officially made its debut. The new vehicle adopts a brand-new design language, and offers two power systems including EV and DM. It is worth noting that according to information circulating online, the prepaid vehicle pickup prices for dealers of the new Seal 06 have been exposed, covering 5 DM-i plug-in hybrid models and 5 EV pure electric models respectively, with the prepaid price ranging from 105,000 yuan to 145,000 yuan. It is learned that the new vehicle is expected to hit the market within August.

According to the online information, the DM-i plug-in hybrid version has 5 models in total: 230km Smart Enjoy Version at 105,000 yuan, 230km Premium Enjoy Version at 115,000 yuan, 320km Smart Enjoy Version at 115,000 yuan, 320km Premium Enjoy Version at 125,000 yuan, and 320km Flagship Version at 135,000 yuan. The EV pure electric version also has 5 models: 530km Smart Enjoy Version at 115,000 yuan, 530km Premium Enjoy Version at 125,000 yuan, 630km Smart Enjoy Version at 125,000 yuan, 630km Premium Enjoy Version at 135,000 yuan, and 630km Flagship Version at 145,000 yuan. (Note: The prepaid vehicle pickup price is the internal settlement price for dealers to pick up vehicles from the manufacturer. The final official guiding price after launch usually has adjustment room, and follows the industry convention of "refund for overpayment and make up for short payment".)

In terms of appearance, the new vehicle adopts irregular headlight clusters, with longitudinally arranged quadrilateral ventilation openings on both sides of the front bumper, and a trapezoidal heat dissipation opening in the middle, making the overall shape more recognizable. In addition, according to previous information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new vehicle will also provide roof lidar as an optional fitment.

From the side view, the new vehicle adopts a relatively standard three-box sedan structure, it is also equipped with national standard-compliant semi-concealed door handles, and the rims adopt a double five-spoke design. In terms of model size, the length, width and height of the new vehicle are 4870/1890/1495mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2820mm. It is still positioned as a mid-size car, with its length increased by 40mm, width increased by 15mm and wheelbase increased by 30mm compared with the current model.

At the rear part, the new vehicle adopts a through-type taillight cluster, with the BYD LOGO embedded in the middle. The middle part of the trunk is designed with a recessed license plate frame, matched with the two-color design of the rear bumper, giving the new vehicle a good sense of layering.

In terms of interior, the new vehicle is equipped with an embedded full LCD instrument panel, paired with a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. The center console is equipped with a large-sized central control touch screen, and adopts a large-sized piano black decorative panel, while interior ambient lights are added. The central control channel is designed with a wireless charging panel and dual cup holders.

In terms of power, the new vehicle is equipped with the fifth-generation DM system, still carrying a 1.5L plug-in hybrid system, with the maximum power of its engine reaching 74kW. For the drive motor, the new vehicle provides single motors with two power levels, with maximum power of 120kW and 240kW respectively, which has been improved to a certain extent compared with the currently sold models.
