[AUTOHOME News] Recently, we learned from official sources that the all-electric version of Buick Zhijing L7 will kick off pre-sale on August 5. The model has already opened for reservations earlier, with 800V architecture as standard across the entire lineup, equipped with 6C fast charging technology, and all variants boast a range of over 700km.
In terms of exterior design, the all-electric Buick Zhijing L7 inherits the design of its range-extended version, with a streamlined and dynamic shape. Drawing on the styling concept of the ELECTRA-L concept car, it adopts Buick's family design language, matched with Star Sky Wing headlight clusters and active air intake grille, and is fitted with a lidar on the roof. The rear of the vehicle adopts transparent through-type taillights, which are different from those of the range-extended model. Meanwhile, the new car will also offer new body colors including Star Sand Green and Cherry Blossom Pink. For body dimensions, the new model is 5032mm long, 1952mm wide and 1499 (1507) mm high, with a wheelbase of 3000mm.
For the interior, the overall cabin adopts a wrap-around design, equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central control screen and a 50-inch panoramic AR-HUD head-up display system. The cabin is powered by a Qualcomm SA8775P chip, and is fitted with a Buick Sound theater-level premium digital audio system with 27 speakers. In terms of assisted driving, the vehicle will carry the Xiaoyao Smart Driving assistance system, adopting the end-to-end reinforcement learning Momenta R6 Flywheel Large Model, providing functions such as seamless urban NOA and all-type parking space assistance.
In terms of power, the all-electric Buick Zhijing L7 is equipped with a single electric motor with a maximum power of 282kW, matched with a CATL lithium iron phosphate battery. It has a top speed of 220km/h, a range of over 700km for the entire lineup, and can replenish 450km of range in 10 minutes.
