[AUTOHOME Overseas Spy Shots] Recently, spy shots of the MINI COUNTRYMAN off-road version have been exposed, and the new model will make its debut in October. The spy shots are officially released by MINI, and the actual vehicle has basically reached mass production status and is undergoing off-road testing.

The MINI COUNTRYMAN off-road version has higher ground clearance than the standard COUNTRYMAN. The new model is equipped with black alloy wheels matched with all-terrain tires, while the roof is fitted with the large roof tent that is optional for multiple models under the MINI brand. The off-road version is not equipped with wide-body wheel arches, and the front and rear bumpers also retain the basic design of the standard version.

At present, MINI officials have not yet announced the powertrain information of the new model, which is expected to be equipped with the ALL4 four-wheel drive system. Jean-Philippe Parain, Head of the MINI brand, said that the core of MINI has always been to turn every journey into an adventure. This new model has followed this brand spirit from the very beginning of its project initiation. It balances hardcore off-road capability and the unique personality traits of MINI, and will unlock more scenarios for users to create unforgettable adventure memories.
