The Wey V8X is positioned as a mid-to-large SUV, offering pure electric and plug-in hybrid power options.
In terms of appearance, the Wey V8X is more like a downsized version of the V9X. Compared with the V9X, the V8X is 80mm shorter in length, the same in width, 4mm lower in height, and the wheelbase remains the same. The length, width and height of the new car are 5125mm/2025mm/1821mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 3050mm. The new car adopts Oriental aesthetic design, with a three-dimensional floating logo matched with concise through-type daytime running lights. The taillight design also echoes the headlight, and the multi-spoke rims reflect the grand design style.
In terms of interior, the new car adopts a dual connected screen design for the driver and front passenger, equipped with the "Classmate Xiao Wei" cockpit intelligent agent, which has memory function, perceives emotions, can chat and make plans. It can also realize voice control of start, lane change, speed adjustment, U-turn and parking, supports parking-space-to-parking-space full-scenario NOA (Navigate on Autopilot), which can understand instructions, think independently, adapt to all road conditions and is safer. The car adopts a large five-seat layout, the rear row is equipped with a folding screen, the whole vehicle is fitted with 9 pieces of sound-insulating glass, the trunk volume is 864L, which can be expanded to 2225L when the second row of seats is folded down.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with the Super Hi4 hybrid system, a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system, and a 4-speed dedicated hybrid transmission. The comprehensive power of the system is 500kW, the comprehensive torque is 930N·m, and it accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 4.5 seconds.
