The new vehicles are mainly upgraded in details, with the addition of the e-SKYACTIV G 2.5 (2.5L naturally aspirated engine) power option. It is reported that they will first go on sale in the Japanese market in August, with the new Mazda 3 starting at 2.365 million yen (about RMB 98,000), and the new Mazda CX-30 starting at 2.64 million yen (about RMB 109,000).
The new Mazda 3 is still available in hatchback and sedan versions. Its main exterior change is the addition of the all-new Aerodynamic Gray metallic paint. In terms of configuration, the driving assistance system has been mainly upgraded, with new functions of door opening warning and adaptive high beam, as well as optimized emergency lane keeping, intelligent forward brake assist and full-speed adaptive cruise functions. These upgrades are also applied to the new Mazda CX-30.
In addition to the Aerodynamic Gray metallic paint, the new Mazda CX-30 also offers Zinc Green metallic paint for the exterior. Besides, a new gray + white color scheme is added to the interior, the front seats will be equipped with ventilation function, and the see-through chassis panoramic imaging system is added.
In terms of power, the new vehicles still retain the 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, 2.0L naturally aspirated engine and 2.0L compression ignition engine. A 2.5L naturally aspirated engine is added for option in this facelift, which will be matched with a 6-speed automatic transmission, and available in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions.
