[Autohome Domestic Spy Shots] Recently, interior spy shots of the test vehicle for the mass-production version of Beijing Off-Road City Hunter have been exposed. Previously, the new model made its exterior debut simultaneously with Beijing 81. The new vehicle boasts a large overall size, which meets the dual demands of urban travel and suburban off-roading.

Note: The spy shots were taken in public open areas, and the background has been pixelated for privacy protection. This model is a test vehicle, which does not represent the final mass-production specification.

Judging from the newly exposed interior, the new car will be a large five-seat SUV. The interior center console adopts a design style similar to that of the current Beijing Off-Road BJ series, with a dual connected screen design covering the instrument cluster, central control display and co-pilot display. Meanwhile, crystal knob buttons are retained in the central tunnel area. As it is oriented to urban travel, no extra physical buttons are reserved.

The rear row offers generous legroom, with an independent air conditioning control screen at the center of the rear row. The doors are still equipped with physical door handles. The trunk has a large space and is fitted with fixed buckles for storage, meeting the demand of long-distance cross-country trips.

In terms of exterior, there will be minor adjustments. The new car still follows a hardcore design style, and the whole vehicle is quite tall, which can be easily seen when compared with the Audi A4L next to it. The headlights still adopt the design of a circular inner part and square outer frame, and the large-size grille is expected to be retained. The new model adopts a floating roof design.

At the rear of the vehicle, vertical taillights are used instead, with a very unique shape. In addition, an external-mounted storage box is added. The whole vehicle adopts the design of short front and rear overhangs, long wheelbase, high seating position, wide visibility and high chassis. The official has not yet disclosed information about the powertrain. (Text/Qin Chao, Autohome)
