[Autohome News] Recently, we learned from Mercedes-Benz official sources that the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLA will make its global debut on July 29. The new model will offer three powertrain options, including pure electric, plug-in hybrid and mild hybrid variants, and is built on the MMA platform.

The all-new Mercedes-Benz GLA will adopt the brand's new family design language. It will be equipped with a retro shield-shaped grille similar to that of the all-electric GLC, and both the front and rear lights will incorporate Mercedes-Benz's three-pointed star emblem elements. The new car still adopts a dynamic crossover design to emphasize sportiness. The rear styling is more dynamic than that of the current model, and the taillights may adopt a through-type design.

In terms of power, the pure electric version can refer to the all-new CLA, which will support 800V technology, and provide two battery packs of 58.5 kWh and 85 kWh, with a maximum cruising range of about 779 kilometers. The powertrain offers two versions of single motor and dual motor, with maximum power of 268 horsepower and 349 horsepower respectively; the plug-in hybrid version is expected to be equipped with a combination of 1.5T turbocharged four-cylinder engine and electric motor; the mild hybrid version will be equipped with 1.5T engine plus 48V motor, the front-wheel drive version is expected to have 160 horsepower, and the four-wheel drive model will have 190 horsepower.
