[Autohome Overseas Spy Shots] Recently, we have obtained a set of spy shots of the Audi S6 e-tron performance variant from relevant channels. The new model is expected to be launched as a higher-performance version of the S series, which will replace the RS 6 e-tron and feature stronger power output and better handling performance. It is worth mentioning that Audi officially terminated the full vehicle development program of the RS 6 e-tron in September 2025. The new model undergoing road tests this time will become the top performance model of the S6 pure electric family, and will be available in two body styles: Sportback liftback sedan and Avant wagon.

Judging from the details of the exterior camouflage, it can be clearly distinguished that the new model is equipped with a full set of sporty exterior kits compared to the standard version S6 e-tron, with a greatly upgraded sporty atmosphere. The front end is equipped with an exclusive customized front bumper, horizontal trim strips are added inside the air intakes on both sides, with vertical air guide slots at the edges. The grille area adopts the iconic honeycomb grid structure of Audi performance models; new ventilation openings are added to the front fenders on the side of the body, the side skirt lines are wider and lower, and it is replaced with large-sized multi-spoke sport rims at the same time. Red high-performance brake calipers can be seen inside, and the specification of the entire braking system is significantly enhanced compared with the standard version.

In terms of body styles, the new model will launch the Sportback liftback sedan and Avant wagon simultaneously, taking into account the handling performance of coupes and the practical attributes of wagons. The chassis, power and exterior kits of the two models are completely from the same source, and only the rear styling of the body is different. The new model is still in the road test stage at the Nürburgring at the current stage. Audi has not yet announced the official release time, and it is expected to make its debut and enter overseas markets within 2027.

The modification range of the rear end is smaller than that of the front end, but it is also equipped with a redesigned rear surround and a large-sized diffuser. The small roof spoiler continues the structure of the standard model without major modifications. When the prototype of the Avant wagon version was undergoing road tests, the specifications of the left and right wheels were inconsistent, which is a conventional test method for new vehicles. The rest of the body kits and aerodynamic structures are consistent with those of the Sportback version.

There are no clear real shots of the interior at present. It is expected that the hardware layout of the cockpit of the new model will not be significantly adjusted compared with the standard version. It will still be equipped with an 11.9-inch full LCD instrument panel, a 14.5-inch central control multimedia screen, and a 10.9-inch co-pilot entertainment display is optional. At the same time, it will be equipped with a flat-bottom sport steering wheel and sport seats with stronger wrapping support. Exclusive performance-oriented logos and interior color matching will be added inside the car to enhance the recognition of the sport model.

On the power level, the current Audi S6 e-tron is equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system and a 100kWh battery pack, with a maximum power of 503 horsepower, which can reach about 543 horsepower after the launch control mode is turned on. The 0-100km/h acceleration time is expected to reach 3.8 seconds, and the top speed can reach 240km/h. The power parameters of the performance version exposed this time have not been officially disclosed yet, and it is speculated that its comprehensive maximum power will exceed 600 horsepower.
