[Auto Home Official New Car Images] Recently, BYD officially released the official images of the Qin MAX model, which has completed the declaration with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China previously. The vehicle will be launched in plug-in hybrid and pure electric versions, and is equipped with flash charging function. Meanwhile, the new car has a wheelbase of 2820mm, and is positioned higher than the Qin L.
In terms of appearance, the front face adopts the family-style design, with the front styling pressed forward, presenting a full diving sense. A matte silver chrome "dragon beard" trim runs horizontally across the entire front face, the iconic small seal script "Qin" logo of the Dynasty series is engraved in the middle of the trim, and its two ends smoothly connect to the daytime running light strips on the upper edge of the headlights, becoming the core identification symbol of the front face. The matrix LED headlights on both sides are narrow, long and upturned, equipped with internal matrix light clusters, matched with the slender dragon beard daytime running light strips.
The iconic large fastback line on the side of the body presses down smoothly from the A-pillar and extends continuously to the small ducktail at the rear. The roof adopts a black contrasting panoramic sunroof, and the window frame is matched with matte black trim to create a floating roof effect, further stretching the longitudinal visual perception of the body. In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the new car are 4866/1880/1495mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2820mm.
The rear design echoes the front styling. The Chinese knot-style through-type flowing taillights adopt smoked lamp housing, with ribbon-shaped layered luminous texture inside, the light strip runs across the entire rear, and the BYD brand LOGO is embedded in the middle. The bottom of the rear is equipped with a large-area black sports surround, and the two sides replicate the same simulated diversion grooves as the front face, with unified design language.

In terms of power, the plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor. The maximum power of the engine is 74kW, the maximum power of the motor is 175kW, and it is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The pure electric version adopts a single motor, with maximum power of 120kW and 240kW respectively, power battery capacities of 52.868kWh and 64.315kWh respectively, and corresponding CLTC cruising ranges of 530km and 630km respectively. In terms of energy replenishment, the Qin MAX will be equipped with BYD's second-generation Blade Battery and flagship flash charging technology. Referring to the measured data of BYD's existing flash charging models, the vehicle only takes 5 minutes to fast charge from 10% to 70%, and only 9 minutes from 10% to 97%.
