[Autohome News] Recently, we spotted the new Li Auto MEGA in the Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models Eligible for Vehicle Purchase Tax Reduction and Exemption (the 32nd Batch). The vehicle is equipped with a 108kWh battery pack, boasting a pure electric range of 710km. The new model will see upgrades in appearance, interior and powertrain.
The new Li Auto MEGA introduces brand-new body colors for a more personalized look. The front bumper has been optimized, with decorative trims added around the air intake. Viewed from the side, the new car adopts brand-new dark disc-shaped rims to deliver a stronger sense of premium. It also features new semi-hidden door handles, and adds side-facing and rear-facing solid-state LiDARs, bringing the total number of LiDARs on the vehicle from 1 to 4.
In terms of dimensions, the new car has a length, width and height of 5355/1965/1850mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 3300mm, with its length 5mm longer than that of the current model. At the rear of the vehicle, the tailgate and rear bumper have been redesigned: the surface of the tailgate is more three-dimensional, and the rear bumper also features a stronger sense of layering. In addition, the new MEGA is also equipped with rear-wheel steering.
In terms of power, the rear motor power of the Li Auto MEGA has been increased from 245kW to 258kW, while the front motor remains 155kW, lifting the comprehensive power from 400kW to 413kW.
