[AUTOHOME New Car Launch] Recently, the Tesla Model Y High Performance All-Wheel Drive version was officially launched, with one variant available, starting at 369,000 yuan. As the high-performance variant in the Model Y lineup, the new model features a brand-new aerodynamic design on the exterior, adopts a more sport-oriented interior design, and is equipped with a front and rear dual-motor four-wheel drive system, with a maximum power output of 467 kW, a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 3.5 seconds, and a CLTC cruising range of 659 kilometers.
In terms of exterior, the new model adopts a brand-new aerodynamic exterior design, for example, it is equipped with low-drag front and rear bumpers with a three-section styling. Meanwhile, the vehicle still retains the connected three-segment full-LED daytime running light design, while the high and low beam headlight clusters are integrated with the ventilation openings on both sides of the front bumper, and the overall styling combined with the design further enhances its sporty attributes.
From the side of the vehicle, the overall styling of the new model is no different from that of the standard version, it still adopts a fastback coupe structure, paired with pop-up hidden door handles, and details such as the door frames, door handles and exterior rearview mirrors have been blacked out. In addition, the new model is also equipped with exclusive 21-inch spider web wheels 2.0, paired with red brake calipers, to further enhance the sporty feel.
At the rear, the new model is equipped with a newly extended carbon fiber spoiler, and the taillight cluster still adopts a through-type design with a diffuse reflection light strip, which provides good recognizability when lit. In addition, the rear bumper of the new model is also equipped with a decorative panel in the style of a rear diffuser, which looks more dynamic. In terms of body dimensions, the new model has a length, width and height of 4796mm/1920mm/1611mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2890mm, and is positioned as a mid-size SUV.
In terms of interior, the overall styling of the new model is not much different from that of the standard version. The sporty interior of the new model is decorated with carbon fiber trim panels. In terms of configuration, the front sport seats are equipped with seat ventilation, thickened side wing supports, thigh supports and electric adjustment function; the rear seats have functions such as electric adjustment/folding and seat heating.
