Meanwhile, Li Auto will also launch the 2026 Li Auto i6 in the fourth quarter of this year, which is equipped with Li Auto's self-developed 5C battery and self-developed Mach chip. User reservations will open at the end of September, and deliveries will start in early November.

At the Q2 financial report communication meeting held on August 26 earlier, Li Xiang, Chairman and CEO of Li Auto, once stated that starting from the second half of this year, Li Auto's self-developed batteries will be successively equipped on all models of the brand. At present, Li Auto's self-developed batteries have been installed on Li Auto L8, Li Auto L6 and Li Auto i8. Going forward, Li Auto's self-developed batteries will be equipped on models including the new Li Auto MEGA, all-new Li Auto i9, and 2026 Li Auto i6. The first batch of Li Auto i9 will be fitted with CATL 5C ternary lithium batteries, and after the production ramp-up of the self-developed batteries is completed, all units will be fully switched to Li Auto's self-developed 5C ternary lithium batteries.


The Li Auto i9 was previously declared to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). As the second model under the Li Auto brand equipped with the Home version, it adopts the i-series family design. Its length, width and height are 5225/1970/1752mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 3168mm, and four lidars are provided as standard. In terms of power, it is equipped with front and rear dual motors, the maximum power of the front motor is 150kW, the maximum power of the rear motor is 250kW, matched with a 101kWh battery pack, and its pure electric driving range is 680km and 705km.
