[AUTOHOME News] On September 7, we captured the all-new Audi S5 Avant, a mid-size sedan under the Audi brand, from domestic dealers. As a generational replacement model, it continues to be equipped with a 3.0T V6 engine, matched with a 7-speed Stronic dual-clutch transmission.
In terms of exterior design, the new car adopts a family-style design language. The shield-shaped front grille is decorated with black honeycomb elements inside, paired with a glossy black Audi brand logo, which brings a good visual effect. At the same time, there are multiple raised rib lines on the engine hood, matched with the diversion grooves on both sides, which further enhances the sporty atmosphere of the vehicle.
From the side of the body, the all-new Audi S5 Avant continues the elegant and slender body posture of a station wagon. In terms of the rear part, the car adopts a through-type taillight assembly, matched with a roof spoiler, a lower diffuser and a bilateral four-outlet exhaust layout, giving it a strong sporty vibe. In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the car are 4835/1860/1450mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2896mm, and it is positioned as a mid-size sedan.
In terms of interior, the car adopts a wraparound cockpit design, and is equipped with a flat-bottom three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, a 10.9-inch active hidden passenger display, an 11.9-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch central control screen, which gives it a good sense of technology. In terms of power, the car is equipped with a 3.0T V6 engine with a maximum output power of 270 kW and a peak torque of 550 N·m, and is equipped with 48V MHEV plus mild hybrid technology and VTG technology. In terms of transmission, it is matched with a 7-speed Stronic dual-clutch transmission and equipped with quattro four-wheel drive system.
