In terms of appearance, the Cadillac XT5 PHEV retains the design of the fuel-powered variant, equipped with Cadillac's shield-shaped mesh luminous front grille and luminous logo, paired with split headlight clusters, and LiDAR is introduced on the roof for the first time. Meanwhile, the front bumper has been optimized, and it comes with a new active grille shutter.
In terms of dimensions, the new car has a length, width and height of 4888/1957/1688mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2863mm. Compared with the fuel-powered variant, the vehicle height is reduced by 6mm, while other dimensions remain unchanged. The side of the body is equipped with traditional door handles and new-style 21-inch Fufeng wheel rims, paired with 265mm low rolling resistance wide tires and Brembo six-piston brake calipers, and the windows are equipped with bright black trim strips.
At the rear of the vehicle, the rear bumper design is simplified, with a larger area of integrated body paint, the dual-side dual-outlet exhaust layout is canceled, and a hidden exhaust design is adopted. The shark fin antenna on the roof is removed, while the iconic 7-shaped taillights of the current model are still retained. This new car also adds two new body colors: Grand Canyon Orange matte finish and Phantom Sand White.
In terms of interior, the Cadillac XT5 PHEV follows the design of the fuel-powered variant, introducing two interior colors: Yellowstone Dawn and Screen Streamer, equipped with breathing ambient lights and an in-vehicle fragrance system. The highly anticipated five-view sentry mode is officially launched, which can monitor the surrounding conditions of the vehicle in real time, automatically record videos once an abnormality occurs, and support remote viewing of the vehicle status via mobile phone. At the same time, the central control area of the new car still retains physical buttons and knobs, the steering wheel adopts a new button function layout, and a new center armrest, dual 50W wireless fast charging and 66W wired fast charging are introduced. A new in-vehicle cooling and heating box is added, which can make ice in 15 minutes and supports silver ion antibacterial function.
In terms of seats, Fine Nappa semi-aniline handmade leather seats are adopted, which support electric heating and ventilation for the front seats, electric lumbar support adjustment and front seat environment memory system. The rear seats are equipped with heating function, and the flat floor is matched with a center armrest shortened by 84 mm.
The new car is equipped with the Momenta R7 World Model ADAS system, which is delivered fully functional upon mass production. The all-new XT5 PHEV adopts a LiDAR-inclusive hardware solution across the entire range, covering urban roads, unpaved roads, winding mountain roads, and even country roads with limited map information. In congested road conditions, the system can automatically realize cloud-based following; in case of unexpected situations such as construction occupation and sudden cut-ins by other vehicles, the system can perceive risks in advance and avoid decisively; when driving on extreme road sections such as narrow country roads and cliff-hanging roads, even if there is only 20 cm of clearance on one side, it can operate accurately to pass through; when driving into remote areas with no signal and no navigation, the system can still maintain stable cruising. In terms of parking, it can automatically park into both standard parking spaces and extremely narrow mechanical parking spaces; when you accidentally drive into a dead end, the one-click "trace reverse" function can support returning along the original route for up to 150 meters; for parking spaces in residential areas or companies that are visited frequently, the system can also memorize and park into the "familiar spot" with one click.

The new car is compatible with 92, 95 and 98 octane gasoline, it takes 15 minutes to charge from 30% to 80% with 5C fast charging, and supports 6kW external discharge.
The Cadillac XT5 PHEV continues to be equipped with the full-condition electric Hummingbird chassis, which has been upgraded. The RTD has been upgraded to the second-generation preview RTD electronic real-time damping adjustable suspension, which can identify speed bumps, manhole covers and potholed roads 20 meters in advance, scan at a high frequency of 500 times per second and adjust the suspension stiffness in real time, resolving up to 60% of the bumps; it is equipped with the same Brembo six-piston brake system as the Escalade, and the comfort braking function is upgraded; the entire range comes standard with front and rear dual-motor four-wheel drive, with a response speed only a quarter of that of traditional mechanical four-wheel drive, which has stronger grip and excellent escape ability on rainy, snowy, slippery, muddy and sandy road conditions.
