[AUTOHOME Overseas Spy Shots]
Recently, spy shots of the BMW i7 ALPINA 70 xDrive have been revealed. The new vehicle is built based on the BMW i7 M, with a greater emphasis on elegant design and riding comfort. It is expected to be launched in mid-2027, and its price may exceed 200,000 euros (equivalent to approximately 1.57 million yuan).

The prototype in the spy shots is fully covered with camouflage stickers. The overall front styling design is consistent with that of the BMW i7, and iconic designs such as split headlights, slim daytime running lights, and oversized double-kidney grille are all present on the new model. What is quite special is that the LED light strips of the daytime running lights of the BMW i7 ALPINA 70 xDrive are amber, while those of ordinary models are white. This amber lighting design element was released along with the new-generation BMW M Concept, indicating that the new model is actively introducing the design concept of new-generation models.

The prototype is equipped with the iconic 20-spoke alloy wheels that ALPINA has been using since 1970. This wheel style was first adopted on the BMW 3.0 CSL, which is exactly a masterpiece of ALPINA. It is believed that the mass-produced version of the BMW i7 ALPINA 70 xDrive will adopt a different brand-new style.

The reflective markers at the rear of the BMW i7 ALPINA 70 xDrive are arranged horizontally, which is different from the vertical arrangement of the standard version of the BMW i7. This also means that the entire rear bumper will adopt a brand-new design to ensure good visual perception and match ALPINA's brand style.

In terms of interior, according to information disclosed by foreign media, the BMW i7 ALPINA 70 xDrive will be built with top-grade materials, adopt a four-seat layout, and be equipped with independent rear seats to maximize the riding comfort of the rear row. At the same time, it will be decorated with precious wood trims and metal decorative parts.

In terms of power, the official has not yet released the power information of this new model. Referring to the BMW i7 M70L currently on sale in China, this car is equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system, the maximum power of the front motor is 190kW, the maximum power of the rear motor is 355kW, the comprehensive power of the dual motors is 545kW, and the peak torque is 1100N·m; the capacity of the battery pack is 101.7kWh, and the CLTC pure electric cruising range is 610km.
