[AUTOHOME Official New Car Images] Recently, we learned from official sources that the official images of the Spyker C8 Preliator XXV have been released. Dutch sports car manufacturer Spyker has made a strong comeback after years of silence, reviving the C8 supercar, which draws on Spyker's historical heritage as an aircraft manufacturer in the early 20th century. The Spyker C8 Preliator XXV can be regarded as an upgraded version of the C8 Preliator unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, with a global limited edition of only 25 units.

In terms of appearance, the vehicle adopts emerald green paired with rose gold, presenting a calm and high-end overall visual effect. The roof is equipped with an oversized air intake to smoothly guide airflow to the engine; rose gold trim and layered grille patterns make the functional ventilation structure a core element of the whole vehicle's design. The side skirt of the vehicle is embedded with small rose gold winglets, whose design is inspired by the control surfaces of fighter jets; with compact size and precise positioning, it further tightens the side profile of the whole vehicle without damaging the smooth lines of the body. At the same time, the new car will also be equipped with exclusive six-piston brake calipers and carbon-ceramic brake discs, and the dry curb weight of the vehicle is 1525kg. The rear of the vehicle adopts a high-mounted exhaust system to create the shortest exhaust path and release the pure engine sound.

In terms of interior, the Spyker C8 Preliator XXV is equipped with a full set of aviation-style instruments, with green backlight showing through the turned aluminum base; all mechanical physical switches make all functions clear at a glance and accessible at hand, with pure manual operation. The iconic grille pattern of the external grille is fully replicated in the cockpit interior, with double-layer stitching texture embossed on the thickened leather surface. The shift lever with vertical anti-slip design is matched with a rose gold decorative ring, and the workmanship quality is comparable to precision instruments. Each shift has a clear travel and a heavy touch, and the full power rhythm of the vehicle is completely controlled by the driver. The steering wheel integrates the core control buttons of the vehicle, so you don't need to take your hands off for all key operations.

In terms of power, the Spyker C8 Preliator XXV is equipped with a 4.0T twin-turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 811 horsepower, a peak torque of 1000N·m, and a maximum speed of 8000 rpm. It is equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox, and the 0-100km/h acceleration time is 2.7 seconds. (Text / Yao Yu, AUTOHOME )
