[AUTOHOME New Car Launch] Recently, the new Deepal G318 has officially made its debut. The new model will be equipped with HarmonySpace 5 cockpit and Huawei Qiankun Smart Driving ADS 5 Pro. The new car is scheduled to be launched in the near future. For reference, the current Deepal G318 is priced in the range of RMB 185,900 to RMB 229,900.
In terms of appearance, the overall design of the new car is basically consistent with that of the current model on sale. The front face is equipped with a thick front bumper and an overall smoked black design, complemented by C-shaped headlights on both sides, presenting a tough and sporty styling vibe.
On the side of the body, the door handles of the new car have been replaced with a traditional design. The body dimensions are 5125mm in length, 2025mm in width and 1895mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2880mm. The new car is equipped with 18-inch wheels, matched with tires of size 255/65 R18, and is fitted with rear ventilated brake discs. The rear of the vehicle is still equipped with a thick bumper design paired with a full-size external spare tire.
In terms of interior, the new Deepal G318 still creates a tough sense through straight lines. The 14.6-inch central control screen embedded in the center is built with HarmonySpace 5 cockpit system. In addition, the new car is replaced with a new style of gear shifter, while adjusting the front cup holders to expand the mobile phone storage slot area.
The front seats of the new car support heating, ventilation and massage functions and are equipped with zero-gravity mode. The back of the front seat back is provided with expansion interfaces, which can connect to rear PAD and other devices; the rear seats support heating and ventilation functions, and the backrest can be folded down to achieve a relatively flat state. In addition, the new car is equipped with Huawei Qiankun Smart Driving ADS 5 Pro, with functions such as urban mapless navigation assistance, park pilot assistance (automatic parking spot search and parking), parking spot-to-parking spot 3.0, and trace reverse driving.
In terms of power, the new Deepal G318 is expected to continue to use the 1.5T range-extended plug-in hybrid system equipped on the current model. The maximum power of the engine is 110kW, both front and rear axles are equipped with drive motors, the maximum power of the front motor is 131kW, and the maximum power of the rear motor is 185kW.
