[AUTOHOME News] On August 17, we learned from BYD official sources that the Da Han, the flagship full-size sedan under its Dynasty 9 Series, will open for pre-sale at the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show which kicks off on August 21. The model offers two power options: pure electric and plug-in hybrid, among which the pure electric version has a maximum CLTC cruising range of 1008km.



In terms of appearance, the front face of the vehicle still follows the "Dragon Face" design of the Dynasty family. The integrated through-type light assembly paired with the dragon beard shape gives it strong visual recognition. For the rear part, it adopts a through-type taillight assembly, and the internal lamp cavity adopts a style similar to Chinese knot, forming a visual echo with the front end. In terms of size, its length, width and height are 5256/1999/1510mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3130mm. The vehicle will also provide 20-inch and 21-inch rims for selection, among which the 21-inch rims can be optionally equipped with floating rim center caps to enhance the sense of luxury.

In terms of power, the plug-in hybrid version will be equipped with a combination of 1.5T engine and electric motor. The maximum power of the engine is 115kW, the maximum power of the electric motor is 200kW, the power battery capacity is 54.489kWh, and the WLTC pure electric cruising range is 370km; the pure electric version provides rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions, the maximum power of the motor for the rear-wheel drive model is 370kW, the maximum power of the front/rear motors for the four-wheel drive version is 200kW/370kW respectively, the 0-100km/h acceleration time of the four-wheel drive version is 3.8 seconds, and the top speed is 270km/h. According to previous information, it will be equipped with a 102.326kWh battery pack, and provide five CLTC cruising ranges of 820km, 850km, 880km, 970km and 1008km according to different model configurations.
