[Autohome Official New Car Images] Recently, the official images of the Bugatti Destrier have been officially released. As the third one-off model under Bugatti's "Programme Solitaire", the car is named after the most precious war horses of elite medieval knights. Built on the chassis of the Bolide, the new model still adopts an 8.0-liter W16 quad-turbo engine with a maximum power of 1,600 horsepower, and is scheduled to make its official debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance kicking off on August 14. It is worth noting that this model was designed by Chinese designer @ClarkWu_, who also serves as the Lead Exterior Designer of Bugatti.

In terms of appearance, the new car is painted in Sapphire Celeste as a tribute to the Type 57 SC Atlantic. It still retains the low-slung body proportion of the Bolide. Since it is positioned as an ultimate, pure road street car, no exaggerated aerodynamic designs are applied, which keeps its body height at only about 1 meter. In addition, the most prominent exterior feature is its iconic C-line design, which extends from the front wheel arch all the way to the front end and connects with the horseshoe grille. Paired with 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, it creates a diving stance.

The vehicle's interior no longer follows the uncompromising racing style of the Bolide, but creates a quiet and warm atmosphere. With a greater focus on handcraft art, it uses three types of fabrics, namely Ambre Voyageur leather, suede and knitted fabric, for three-dimensional knitting to create a seamless three-dimensional surface. In addition, the vehicle is also equipped with a 1/1 badge, the French national flag and other elements. In terms of power, it is still fitted with an 8.0-liter W16 quad-turbo engine that delivers a maximum power of 1,600 horsepower. (Text / Guo Chen, Autohome)
