The new Li i6 has previously completed its declaration with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), and will be equipped with Li Auto's self-developed 5C battery and self-developed Mach chip.
The new car has undergone minor adjustments in appearance. For example, the design of the front bumper is relatively consistent with that of the current all-new L9 and i9, presenting a family-oriented design. Meanwhile, the new car adopts semi-hidden door handles that comply with the new national standards, and offers 20-inch and 21-inch wheels for selection. In terms of body dimensions, the length, width and height of the new car are 4950/1935/1655mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 3000mm.
It is worth noting that the self-developed Li Auto battery equipped in the new Li i6 this time has core technologies covering a complete battery system including the cell, Pack and BMS. The 5C ultra-fast charging cell used in the new Li i6 is independently developed by Li Auto, and entrusted to two partners, Sunwoda and CALB, for OEM production, while the self-developed battery Pack is manufactured by Li Auto itself.
In terms of optional configurations, according to the previous MIIT declaration information, the new car will offer the Mach package as an option, which includes dual Mach M100 chips, 4 LiDARs (roof LiDAR + 2 side blind-spot compensation LiDARs + rear blind-spot compensation LiDAR), as well as supporting functions such as electrically opening and closing doors. In addition, the new car also provides an electric retractable special traction device (electric trailer hook). In terms of power, the new Li i6 adopts a pure electric power system, offering single-motor and dual-motor versions.
