[Autohome Official New Car Images] Recently, we learned from official sources that Mitsuoka Motors' upcoming all-new retro convertible sports car, the Mitsuoka LA1, is scheduled to make its official debut on November 26, 2026. The vehicle is also regarded as the successor to the Mitsuoka Rock Star.

Founded in 1968, Mitsuoka Motors is renowned for converting modern mass-produced vehicles into retro-style models. It has launched models such as Orochi, Himiko, and Galue in its lineup. The Mitsuoka LA1 is a retro convertible built by Mitsuoka Motors based on the Mazda MX-5. Its exterior pays tribute to the late version of the 1958 Chevrolet Corvette C1, which is similar to the approach adopted for the Mitsuoka Rock Star, a replica of the Corvette C2.
