[Home of Overseas Spy Shots, Autohome] Recently, foreign media have exposed spy shots of the Audi RS Q5 Sportback, marking the first time spy images of this model have been revealed. The front fascia design of the new car boasts strong visual impact. It is equipped with the same 2.9L twin-turbo V6 plug-in hybrid system as the RS 5 and a 25.9kWh battery pack, with a top speed of 250km/h.

The Audi RS Q5 Sportback adopts an exclusive large-mouth intake grille design, with horizontal trim strips in the center and a unique mesh texture inside, differentiating it from the regular version models. There are air intakes suspected to be brake ventilation ducts on both sides of the front bumper.

The side design of the new car is consistent with that of the latest Q5 Sportback, featuring a traditional mechanical door handle design, but the wheel arches have been widened, possibly to accommodate a wider wheel track or fit wider tires. The prototype in the spy shots is equipped with multi-spoke silver wheels, and it is believed that the mass production version will adopt a different design style.

Compared with the current regular version model, the rear bumper of the Audi RS Q5 Sportback has been redesigned, paired with a dual-side dual-outlet exhaust system with huge exhaust tips, further enhancing the sporty design atmosphere. The taillight design remains consistent with that of the regular version model.

The cockpit area was not captured in the spy shots. It is expected that the overall interior design and layout of the new car will be consistent with that of the Q5 Sportback, but it will create a sporty atmosphere through materials and exclusive logo designs, such as being equipped with a sport steering wheel, exclusive sport seats, and a large number of RS logos.
