The biggest change of the new vehicle is that the front double-wishbone independent suspension of the standard version is replaced with a live-axle non-independent suspension, realizing a front and rear dual-solid-axle layout, and accommodating 40-inch large tires.

In terms of appearance, the new vehicle adopts an exclusive off-road kit, and exclusive logos will be added to the engine hood and the side of the vehicle to further enhance its recognizability. Specifically, it is equipped with an exclusive off-road kit, including a black lower bumper, a snorkel, a towing device, etc., and a passive night vision system is also available as an option. In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the new vehicle are 4886/1984/1960mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3010mm. The approach angle is 41°, the departure angle is 34°/36°, and the wheel size is 265/70 R18.
In terms of power, according to the information displayed on the official poster released this time, it is equipped with a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 170 kW and a peak torque of 400 N·m. Meanwhile, the declaration for the 3.0T model has been completed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology previously, with a maximum power of 265 kW, and it is expected to be launched as a new version in the future. For the chassis part, the Hooke Trail will adopt front and rear solid axle connections, equipped with thick front axle tubes, tie rods, short trailing arm tie rods, etc., and it is expected to have a large final drive ratio.
