[AUTOHOME Official New Car Images] Recently, official images of the Jeep Wrangler JL-2A have been released. The new model pays tribute to the Willys CJ-2A, a classic model in Jeep's history. As the first civilian model launched by Jeep after the end of World War II, the Willys CJ-2A promoted off-road vehicles to truly enter the mass market. The Wrangler JL-2A will be available in two-door and four-door versions and will be sold in limited quantities.

In terms of exterior design, the Wrangler JL-2A incorporates special design elements on the basis of retaining the design of the current Wrangler. The new model adopts the classic Gobi Beige body color, restoring the original style of the Willys CJ-2A. Even the design and paint finish of the 17-inch wheels pay homage to the classic model. The vehicle is also equipped with all-terrain tires and orange tow hooks, and the tailgate features an exclusive nameplate design. The entire exterior kit fully replicates the retro visual characteristics. The new model offers body colors including Gobi Beige, Dark Olive, Dark Gray, White, Orange and so on.

In terms of interior, the new model adopts a Bison Brown base color, complemented by Desert Orange stitching and Platinum Chrome trim, and is equipped with Nappa leather seats in a matching color scheme.

In terms of power, the Wrangler JL-2A is built based on the Rubicon model. It will be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 266 horsepower and a peak torque of 405 N·m, matched with an 8AT transmission. In terms of off-road performance, the new model adopts a part-time four-wheel drive system, equipped with electronically controlled front and rear differential locks and an electronic anti-roll bar disconnect mechanism, to meet the traffic demands on complex and harsh terrain.
