[Auto Home Overseas Spy Shots] Last month, Lamborghini unveiled its most powerful mass-produced supercar -- the Revuelto SV. Logically, its follow-up model should be the Revuelto SVJ, but that may not be the actual case. We have learned from relevant sources that Lamborghini is working on a major facelift for the Revuelto, and prototypes of the mid-cycle facelifted Revuelto have been spotted undergoing road tests. The new car is expected to make its debut in 2028.

It can be seen that Lamborghini has made quite a few changes to the vehicle's appearance. The new car is equipped with brand-new headlights, which have a sharper shape than the current model, and also give the Revuelto a more aggressive overall look. The Y-shaped daytime running lights are retained, but a newly designed front bumper is fitted. From the side of the body, the vehicle will adopt wider rear wheel arches and add an air intake duct.

The rear part of the car has also been redesigned, with exaggerated vertical cooling vents added to the rear bumper. The vehicle still retains the stepped rear spoiler, but the shape of the spoiler no longer fully fits the hexagonal contour layout of the exhaust. In addition, the vertical guide fins of the vehicle's rear diffuser have been reduced from four to three. The power parameters of the new car have not been announced yet. For reference, the current Revuelto is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 engine and three electric motors, with a combined power of 1016 horsepower, matched with an 8-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox, and its 0-100km/h acceleration time is 2.5 seconds.
