Positioned as a mid-size SUV, the new model is built on the SDA Tianshu architecture platform, adopts Changan Taihang distributed electric drive, will be equipped with LiDAR, and the entire lineup is fitted with the Tianshu Pilot intelligent driving assistance system.
In terms of appearance, the vehicle adopts the floating light aesthetic design concept. The closed front grille paired with the star-ring through-type light cluster endows it with a great sense of fashion. Meanwhile, the three-section air intake also appropriately adds a sporty vibe to the vehicle.
In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4837mm in length, 1970mm in width and 1670mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2940mm. The side lines of the body are designed smoothly, and the black wheel arches add the off-road style that an SUV should have. The new car will be equipped with multi-spoke two-tone rims, and the brake calipers are decorated with orange caliper covers, which enhances the sporty atmosphere. According to official sources, built on the SDA Tianshu architecture platform, the chassis adopts all-aluminum front double wishbone and rear five-link suspension, paired with Changan Taihang distributed electric drive, to improve the riding and driving quality.
In terms of the rear, the vehicle adopts a through-type taillight cluster, with a split design on both sides. It is paired with the exaggeratedly sized diffuser styling at the lower part and diffusers on both sides, which meets the aesthetic demands of current young users. In addition, the vehicle will be equipped with LiDAR and carry the Tianshu intelligent high-end intelligent driving assistance system.
In terms of interior, according to the official images released earlier, it adopts a wraparound cockpit design, and is equipped with a new-style three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, floating central control screen, full LCD instrument panel, large-size HUD, through-type air conditioning vents and rich interior ambient light strips, giving the whole interior a good sense of visual delicacy and fashion.
In terms of other configurations, the new car will be equipped with a two-section sunroof, rear fold-down entertainment screen, rear small table, front passenger zero-gravity seat, on-board refrigerator, etc., which greatly improves the riding comfort and user experience of the new car.
In terms of power, the pure electric version adopts an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform + 6C flash charging, and offers single-motor and dual-motor versions for choice. The single-motor rear-drive version provides two power outputs, 225kW and 245kW respectively, while the comprehensive power of the dual-motor four-wheel drive version is 330kW. In terms of batteries, the new car will have four specifications: 63.18kWh, 66.02kWh, 72.54kWh and 80.02kWh, corresponding to pure electric cruising ranges of 540km, 570km, 610km, 670km/700km respectively.
