[AUTOHOME News] Beijing Hyundai IONIQ V kicked off pre-sale on August 21, with 3 variants launched in total, and the pre-sale price ranges from 119,900 yuan to 139,900 yuan. As the first model of IONIQ, the all-new high-end new energy brand of Beijing Hyundai, the new car is fully led by Hyundai China Design Center, tailor-made for Chinese users and reverse exported to the global market. The new car adopts pure electric power, with a maximum cruising range of 650km.
Looking back at the new car, its overall exterior lines are dominated by straight folded surfaces, showing a pretty good sense of sportiness. The front face has no traditional air intake grille, and the whole front is covered with a closed trim panel. Both sides are equipped with split lighting components, with a horizontal through-type daytime running light strip on the upper part, and the high and low beam light groups embedded in the front bumper area at the lower part. For body colors, the new car will provide 8 options including gold, purple, green, gray, white (solid paint), white (matte paint), silver and black.
The roof line slopes gently from the A-pillar to the rear to form a fastback shape. The new car is also equipped with frameless doors, and the window frames are treated in black. The waist line extends from the front fender to the taillight, and there is another low crease line below. The rear is equipped with an integrated upturned small ducktail, and the model letter logo is printed in the middle of the rear trunk lid. The rear adopts dimensional star orbit taillights. The rear bumper is of layered design, with a diffuser-like black decorative part installed at the bottom, vertical reflectors on both sides, and a black lower guard plate added at the bottom. For model size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4900/1890/1470mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2900mm.
The interior of the new car adopts a nebula wraparound design, with dynamic decorations such as suede and bright colors introduced, matched with nebula ambient lighting. The most eye-catching part is the 27-inch ultra-thin 4K super large central control screen. The infotainment system integrates large AI models such as ERNIE Bot and Doubao, and is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 cockpit chip. In addition, the new car also provides the Cyber Eye HUD head-up display system. In terms of assisted driving, the new car will be equipped with Momenta assisted driving system to realize high-speed assisted driving.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a single motor and provides two power options, with maximum power of 140kW and 168kW respectively, matched with 53.5kWh and 66.8kWh battery packs, and its CLTC pure electric cruising ranges are 520km, 540km, 620km and 650km respectively.
